One Fit Instructors: Meet the Team!

At One Fit Mother, we believe that it is critical for everyone—but ESPECIALLY pregnant and postpartum women—to train with qualified, certified professionals who can provide you with a safe workout for your body’s unique stage. Our instructor team has a combined 29 years experience in the field. We are all nationally certified in group exercise or personal training and hold specialty certifications in birth recovery, diastasis repair, pre and postnatal exercise design, family fitness, and run coaching. We are all moms, with eight children between us, and we understand firsthand your unique phase of life. Our program is designed FOR moms, BY moms, and it is truly our passion to support you through every stage of motherhood.

KIRA SULLIVAN, OWNER
Kira is a NSCA certified personal trainer with over 17 years experience working with mothers. Kira is also a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, certified in diastasis repair, pre and postnatal exercise design, and is a Revolution Running Coach. Kira has devoted her career to helping postpartum women feel strong, empowered and confident.

Favorite class activity? Hill runs!

What do you LIKE to do when you’re not teaching class?
Paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, lifting weights, running with my son, long walks with my dog.

What are you ACTUALLY doing when you’re not teaching class?
Driving up and down the roads 517 times a day (school-aged kids activities!), breaking up fights (two boys!), and vacuuming up dog hair (sheltie!)!

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?
Anywhere on the water!

Favorite class activity? Squats and lunges!

What do you LIKE to do when you’re not teaching class?
Swimming, hiking, scuba diving, dancing and anything crafty.

What are you ACTUALLY doing when you’re not teaching class?
Working as a tax manager at a CPA firm, teaching Irish dancing, struggling to keep three boys alive, fed, and wearing clean, properly fitted clothes (most days I’m failing miserably).

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?

What do you LIKE to do when you’re not teaching class?
Take runs with loud music, dance, crochet, and tackle elaborate baking projects.

What are you ACTUALLY doing when you’re not teaching class?
Folding laundry (literally always), picking up toys (literally always), drinking coffee and playing Candy Land.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?
My only pre-req is mountains! I have to have mountains.

Favorite class activity? Alllllll the burpees!

What do you LIKE to do when you’re not teaching class?
Running all of the miles, reading, enjoying delicious craft beer, spending time with people that make me happy, and every musical ever made.

What are you ACTUALLY doing when you’re not teaching class?
Running all of the miles (but at 5am or with a jogging stroller filled with a wiggly 5 year old), reading books (about poop and dinosaurs, complete with a lot of pictures and funny voices), enjoying craft beer (while attempting to complete full sentences), and going to musicals (without my family, because some things are sacred).

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?
Anywhere that has the promise of sunshine and warm days.
